  • Strategic planning for the department, both short-term and long-term
  • Driving the business growth of the organization through market analysis and product positioning
  • Implementation, tracking, and strengthening of key performance and quality indicators within the marketing department
  • Marketing and selling the organization’s services to achieve business growth
  • Maintain current business relationships and establish new ones.
  • Monitor the market to obtain current marketing intelligence and track the activities of competitors.
  • Apply financial knowledge to improve marketing skills.
  • Monitor sales to ensure market goals are being met.
  • Work with the Finance Department to ensure clients’ accounts are serviced well and debts are monitored.
  • Contact existing and prospective customers via phone, in-person visits, and presentations to maintain a good relationship with clients, cement loyalty, and preserve business.
  • Accelerate the resolution of client issues and complaints.
  • Develop and implement a personal sales strategy that maximizes the market’s ROI.
  • Providing the management team with feedback on customer demands, problems, competing activity, and the possibility of new products and services
  • Take part in industry events and initiatives to raise brand awareness and broaden your network of contacts.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to spot trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Participating in and overseeing the development of marketing tools
  • Review and expand services offered to meet evolving client needs and best practices.
  • Participate in departmental and other meetings as required to meet organizational and service objectives.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement activities within the department and organization.
  • Participate in staff performance appraisals.
  • Oversee the proper induction and training of new employees in the section.
  • Identify and set suitable quality standards for handling clients.
  • Preparation and participation in the continuing educational activities of the department and organization.
  • Conduct duties in a manner that is ethical and promotes a positive image of the organization
  • Any other lawful duty that may be assigned to you
  Requirements The ideal candidate MUST have:
  • 7 years of experience in sales and marketing in the Health industry, preferably in laboratories, and of those, at least 3 years in Business development.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets, client acquisition and retention, and driving revenue growth
  • An in-depth understanding of the sales lifecycle
  • Ability to work across functions and have the drive and energy to drive excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication as well as presentation qualities and being well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A high level of commitment to duty and discipline
  • Unquestionable level of integrity
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience of having used a CRM and Sales and Marketing systems before
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty

  • Have experience working and leading in cross-functional teams
  • Previous experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage.
  Qualifications

Scanlab Nakuru is seeking to recruit a HR manager. The ideal candidate MUST:
  • Have at least 5-7 years’ experience in HR service provision with at least 2-3 years in leadership/ supervisory capacity.
  • Have thorough knowledge of labor legislation & data protection laws.
  • Have experience with execution & cascading of corporate strategy.
  • Strive to understand the organization’s strategy, goals, core values, desired behavior & culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop actionable business strategies, budget & plans for the HR department that ensure alignment with short-term & long-term business objectives.
  • Support implementation/ attainment of Scanlab’s strategic objectives.
  • Provide strategic advisory services to & prepare HR reports for the MD & board of directors.
  • Serve as an active member of the management team including scheduling of agenda-driven meetings, tracking progress of pending meeting action items, cascading of corporate strategy to respective units/ departments and to individual employee KPIs.
  • Automate fully HR processes including but not limited to:
    • Maintaining an employee database/ documentation that is 100% compliant with legal & accreditation requirements.
    • Leave application & approval.
    • Performance management system.
  • Ensure (in collaboration with relevant HODs) that employee recruitment, on-boarding, induction, performance management & exit processes fully comply with the company’s HR manual, HR best practices, legal requirements.
  • Ensure new recruits promptly undergo orientation processes including company orientation, department specific orientation, and basic customer service orientation.
  • Develop a strong performance management system including KPIs aligned to corporate & unit strategy & goals, identify training needs for teams & individuals, conducting talent gaps analysis & developing plans to upskill the organization in line with company strategy, championing company values, reward & recognition framework.
  • Develop a talented, dynamic, highly motivated & engaged workforce.
  • Build & drive a change oriented corporate culture of accountability & high performing teams.
  • Annually review HR documentation to ensure ongoing suitability e.g. HR manual, employee privacy policy, employee KPIs etc.
 

Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in HR or related field and a Higher Diploma in HR management/ CHRP-K certification (mandatory).
  • Practicing member of the IHRM in good standing (mandatory).
  • Strategic management certification, experience in the health sector will be added advantages.

ScanLab is seeking to recruit for the position of Sonographer. The ideal candidate MUST be registered with Kenya radiation protection board and have a valid 2023 practice license & have at least 2 years relevant working experience in a busy environment. Job Duties Include:
  • Perform a range of radiographic/sonographic examinations as requested according to the requirements of the referring physician, provide diagnostic radiographs, performs ultrasound and Doppler examinations by capturing images of diagnostic value.
  • To be able to communicate critical results to referring doctors.
  • Presenting the sonograms and preliminary findings to the Physicians.
  • Receiving of patients for various Radiological procedures and exercising a high degree of customer care by explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients and answering any questions they may have.
  • Book and documenting obstetric patients for their next appointments.
  • Maintaining the ultrasound equipment and maintaining the room in which the procedure takes place.
  • Monitoring and caring for patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures.
  • Ensuring clear images for diagnostic purposes and making adjustments to the sonographic equipment when necessary.
  • Assessing patients and interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic technique.
  • Enabling high quality patient experience including quality of care and optimal turnaround time.
  • Facilitating adherence to set standard for routine and special examinations.
  • Producing images of high diagnostic quality.
  • Be able to advise patients/clients accordingly.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Requirements
  • Applicants for the position must have a Diploma/or Degree in medical imaging sciences/Higher diploma in ultrasound from a recognized institution.
  • Certificate/Diploma in echo technology will be an added advantage.
  • She/he must have two (2) years relevant working experience and must be registered by the Kenya radiation protection board and must have a valid license.
